<span data-metadata=""><span data-buffer="">I’m a curious, passionate, and experimental designer specializing in design systems, user-centered design, accessibility, and complex problem solving.
In my current role at Citi Bank, I am a proud member of the Design System Team, where I’ve played a pivotal role in developing 13 responsive components using Figma, resulting in substantial cost savings of $45 million. My contributions extend to designing the dispute flow for the Merchant Installment Loan, achieving an impressive 30% reduction in dispute calls. Additionally, I led the design efforts for the Certificate of Deposit (CD) across various platforms, with a notable 27% of users enrolling in CD during the first quarter of 2023. In the preceding year, I spearheaded the creation of a Virtual Account Number flow, successfully mitigating fraud transactions and saving an average of $32 million monthly. My commitment to innovative design solutions and measurable impact defines my journey in enhancing user experiences within the financial technology landscape at Citi Bank.
Prior to this, I was a UX Designer at Endive Infotech where I managed branding, design system, producing informational architectures, user journey maps and flows, wireframes & high fidelity pixel-perfect designs for mobile & web. I also participated in digital marketing campaigns for 3 clients ranging from local businesses to national.
I bring a wealth of experience in crafting user-centric digital experiences through proficiency in Design Systems, User Research, Usability Testing, and Accessibility Guidelines. Having championed visual consistency through robust design systems, conducted user research to inform strategic decisions, executed usability tests for iterative improvements, and upheld inclusive design principles through adherence to accessibility guidelines, my skill set ensures the creation of intuitive and universally accessible products. My commitment lies in bridging the gap between design and user needs to deliver impactful, well-rounded digital solutions.
When I am not at my desk solving user problems, you will find me playing tennis, pickleball, cricket, at gym, or doing some crazy adventure activity.

In the time that Altaz was on the Citi Design System team, he has gone above and beyond my expectations.
When joining the team, he was immediately a quick study on the wealth of new cross-functional processes as well as design system information we worked with. He also took it upon himself to identify and develop additional technical skills, on top of already being a high-level Figma user, with which he successfully took ownership of and completed one of our most complex component design projects.
